Who are Watermark Counseling support groups for?

Open to individuals 18+ who are experiencing eating challenges such as binge eating, restrictive eating, or emotional eating.

Adults struggling with eating disorders


Days: First and third Tuesdays of the month

Time: 5:45-7:30 PM

A group designed for those supporting a loved one through their disordered eating recovery. Learn how to offer effective support while also taking care of your own emotional well-being.

Family members & caregivers


Days: Second and fourth Tuesdays of the month

Time: 5:45-7:30 PM

Why participate in group therapy for disordered eating? 

Healing occurs through sharing with others, listening, and working through emotional issues that make us vulnerable to disordered eating. Our group offers support and inspiration from a licensed professional counselor and peers who understand what you’re going through.

Meet Meet your facilitator:
Jaynie Prior, LCPC

Jaynie has been a therapist for over 20 years and has specialized intreating the full spectrum of eating disorders, including binge eating disorder and compulsive overeating. She enjoys working with families and couples in addition to individuals and groups. Her strong expertise in family therapy has proved invaluable with those families who have an individual struggling with an eating issue. With master’s degrees in family therapy as well as psychology, she is a licensed counselor who brings a high level of professionalism to her work. She has a strengths-based frame of reference and incorporates Internal Family Systems Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, with a focus on the compassionate acceptance of the emotional experience as she accompanies her clients.
